The Packers weren't bad defensively Week 15 at Buffalo, allowing 21 points on 253 yards, but their lack of big plays once again prevented their DST from being a real asset in Fantasy. Their three sacks were actually their most in four games, but they had just one interception and no fumble recoveries, giving them three total takeaways during that same stretch.
In the two games leading up to this disappointing four-game stretch, the Packers DST scored a combined 53 Fantasy points, but it also had seven sacks, seven takeaways and four touchdowns. More often than not, it gives up too many yards and points to survive without big plays.
Fortunately, it has an ideal matchup to get back on track Week 16 at Tampa Bay, a team that entered Week 15 having allowed the fifth-most Fantasy points per game to DSTs. The Packers DST might just be worth a shot in your league's championship game.
