It took three weeks, and a controversial call on Monday Night Football, but the replacement referees have finally arrived at the top tier of pop culture recognition – an NMA.tv parody video.

NMA.tv is Taiwanese company Next Media Animation, a computer-animation company known for its over-the-top CGI recreations of major events in world news and entertainment.

They became famous after their “coverage” of Tiger Woods’ Thanksgiving-weekend car crash in 2009 and raised the bar with their rendition of the Jet Blue flight attendant that used the plane’s emergency exit to quit.

Since then, Brett Favre, Lindsay Lohan, and Charlie Sheen have all gotten NMA treatment, and the CGI videos have gotten raunchier.

Next Media Animation’s report is titled “Replacement officials are ruining the NFL season”, and they take a strong editorial stand against the league. The video features an animated Bill Belichick offering a referee a pair of glasses

and an extremely young Kyle Shanahan throwing a tantrum and breathing fire at a “scab” on “take your child to work day.”

It also has NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in Roman emperor robes, ordering Jonathan Vilma’s beheading and urinating on umbrella wielding fans.

The replacement referees’ involvement with the Lingerie Football League is handled in an equally sensitive manner.

NFL fans don't escape NMA's assault. At the end of the video, they're depicted as sheep who will keep watching regardless of the officiating, and happily offering up their money for the league to vacuum up.
