Nothing good ever comes from a fight from a physical point of view because, well, getting punched in the face is never the greatest thing. New York Islanders forward Matt Martin found this out on Thursday night after he was involved in a lengthy first period scrap with Ryan White of the Philadelphia Flyers.
It resulted in Martin's nose looking just a little different than before the whole thing started, and the Comcast Sportsnet cameras captured the entire thing happening in slow motion.
That just looks brutal.
When it was all said and done Martin ended up heading to the locker room looking like this.
