The Stars reassigned Caamano to AHL Texas on Wednesday.
Caamano has been afforded two separate NHL stints this year due to injuries, and he's managed a goal and an assist. The Stars don't have a game until Thursday against the Jets, and Caamano could be recalled for that matchup if the team isn't healthy enough. If not, though, the 21-year-old will shift back to minors to continue fine-tuning his skills, as he's posted 13 goals and 29 points over 84 career AHL contests.
Caamano recorded an assist in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Canucks.
Caamano's first NHL assist came on a Taylor Fedun goal in the second period, restoring a two-score lead for the Stars. The 21-year-old rookie has just two points, 17 hits and 13 shots on goal through 12 appearances. Caamano is likely to return to AHL Texas when Roope Hintz (lower body) is activated from injured reserve.
The Stars recalled Caamano from AHL Texas on Tuesday.
Mattias Janmark (lower body) isn't expected to play Wednesdy against Calgary, so Caamano will likely draw into the lineup against the Flames. The 21-year-old winger has picked up one goal in eight appearances with the big club this season.
Dallas reassigned Caamano to AHL Texas on Saturday.
The Stars activated Blake Comeau (lower body) off injured reserve in a corresponding move, so they're no longer in need of Caamano's services as a depth forward. The 21-year-old will continue to be one of the first players Dallas turns to when dealing with injuries up front, but he won't be a viable fantasy option in 2019-20.
Caamano was recalled from AHL Texas on Monday.
Caamano appeared in six games with Dallas earlier this season before being dropped down to the minors. The 21-year-old winger may serve as an extra body or slide into the lineup in a bottom-six role. Either way, the fantasy upside isn't there right now for Caamano.
The Stars assigned Caamano to AHL Texas on Tuesday.
Corey Perry (foot) is expected to be ready to make his season debut soon, so Dallas is no longer in need of Caamano's services as a depth winger. The 21-year-old will continue to be one of the first players the Stars turn to when dealing with injuries up front this season, but he won't be a viable fantasy option.
Caamano scored his first career goal on two shots in a 4-3 overtime win over the Capitals on Tuesday.
Injuries have ravaged the Stars early in the year, giving Caamano a chance to contribute with the big club. He can check off the first goal milestone in his third career game. The 21-year-old has added five hits and four shots on goal while working in the bottom-six.
Caamano was recalled from AHL Texas on Friday.
The Stars lost three players to injury in Thursday's season-opening loss to the Bruins. Caamano will likely slot in on the fourth line to replace Blake Comeau (lower body). The 21-year-old recorded 12 goals and 24 points in 73 games with Texas last season.
