Brewers' Eric Thames: Sits against lefty

Thames is not in Thursday's lineup against the Padres.

He will head to the bench with lefty Joey Lucchesi on the hill for San Diego. Tyler Austin is starting at first base, but Thames should be one of the first players to come into the game for Milwaukee once a righty comes in out of the Padres' bullpen.
