Angels' Alex Claudio: DFA'd by Halos

Claudio was designated for assignment by the Angels on Sunday.

Claudio was supposed to bolster the Los Angeles bullpen after signing during the offseason, but he never found much consistency and posted a 5.51 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 30:15 K:BB over 32.2 innings. Sunday's starter Jaime Barria was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move.
