Angels' Junior Guerra: Sidelined by hamstring strain

Guerra was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with a left hamstring strain.

Guerra pitched poorly out of the bullpen Thursday against the White Sox, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks across only one-plus inning. It's possible this injury was affecting his performance in the outing, and he'll now be out until at least late September.
