Angels' Taylor Ward: Starting Tuesday

Ward (head) is starting in left field and batting third Tuesday following being hit in the head Sunday.

Ward departed Sunday's game versus the Tigers in the bottom of the ninth inning after being struck by a pitch in the head, a 93 mph fastball thrown by Shelby Miller. Ward's removal from the game has now proved to be more of a precautionary move.
