Solis (elbow) cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Sugar Land on Friday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Solis was designated for assignment by the Astros on Tuesday, and he'll remain in the organization after going unclaimed on waivers. He hasn't seen any game action since 2018 due to a pair of Tommy John surgeries, and he'll likely miss the entire 2022 campaign after undergoing his most recent procedure in June.
