Athletics' Daulton Jefferies: Starting Saturday

Jefferies will start Saturday's game against the Angels, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Jefferies has pitched primarily out of the bullpen in the majors this year, but he'll start Saturday's matchup while James Kaprielian takes on a relief role. Jefferies has made four appearances since the start of September and has recorded a 2.70 ERA and 0.90 WHIP in 10 innings during that time.
