Braves' Darius Vines: Outrighted to Double-A

Atlanta outrighted Vines to Double-A Mississippi on Friday, Grant McAuley of 92.9 The Fan reports.

It's a little surprising that Vines passed through waivers unclaimed, but he will remain in the organization as rotation depth at Mississippi. Vines, 26, holds a 5.82 ERA and 23:11 K:BB over 34 innings during parts of two seasons at the major-league level.
