Braves' Eli White: Contract selected

Atlanta selected White's contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.

White, 30, has slashed .294/.402/.462 with seven home runs and 18 stolen bases over 53 contests with Gwinnett this season. He can play all three outfield positions and could see some starts as Atlanta seeks solutions for its banged-up outfield.
