Brewers' Jared Koenig: Contract selected by Milwaukee

The Brewers selected Koenig's contract from Triple-A Nashville on Sunday.

The left-hander joined Milwaukee on a minor-league deal in November and will receive a look in the big leagues after he posted an 8:2 K:BB with one run allowed over 4.2 innings to begin the season with Nashville. Koenig should fill a low-leverage role while up with the Brewers.
