Brewers' Sal Frelick: Gets quick promotion

The Brewers promoted Frelick from the rookie-level Arizona Complex League to Low-A Carolina on Monday.

As a three-year player at Boston College, Frelick, the No. 15 overall pick in the first-year player draft in July, was never expected to stick around in the ACL for long. He earned his promotion to a full-season affiliate after going 7-for-15 with three stolen bases across four games. Frelick is expected to make his Carolina debut Tuesday.
