Cubs' Ryan Tepera: Back from injured list

Tepera (calf) was activated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Tony Andracki of Marquee Sports Network reports.

The right-hander landed on the injured list June 29 with a strained left calf, and he'll rejoin the active roster after a brief stint on the shelf. Tepera has a 3.35 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 41:12 K:BB over 37.2 innings with 14 holds this season, and he should return to a high-leverage role for Chicago.
