Devon Travis: Elects free agency

Travis rejected his outright assignment and became a free agent Thursday.

Travis will enter free agency in the midst of a recent decline in production, but he could still get a chance with a team due to his age and glimpses of his abilities in the past. Last season, Travis hit .232/.275/.381 with 11 home runs and 44 RBI.
