Indians' Joey Butler: Optioned to Triple-A

Butler was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Saturday, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Butler was a long shot to make the Opening Day roster this spring with the Indians having several major league options in the outfield. He'll start the year at Triple-A Columbus to get regular playing time.
