Luis Cessa: Cut loose by Rockies

Cessa was released by the Rockies on Thursday.

Cessa inked a minor-league pact with the Rockies last month after being cut loose by the Reds but held an 8.44 ERA across six starts with Triple-A Albuquerque before getting his walking papers. The right-hander will now seek another deal elsewhere.
