Mariners' Leonys Martin: Participates in agility work and sprints

Martin (hamstring) participated in extensive agility work and sprints Wednesday, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

Martin appears just about ready to begin a rehab assignment which will likely occur Thursday or Friday. If all goes well in those appearances, he should have the green light to return to Seattle's lineup this weekend. The 28-year-old outfielder will inherit a .262/.339/.483 slash line when he returns to action.
