Houston didn't exactly send its best to Roger Dean Stadium, as Garcia's homer came off minor-league arm Jimmy Endersby, but it was still a nice way to start the spring schedule for one of Miami's big free-agent signings. Garcia posted the best power numbers of his career last season for the Brewers, slashing .262/.330/.490 with 29 homers and 86 RBI in 135 games, and the Marlins are hoping the 30-year-old can supply similar production in the heart of their order.
