Marlins' Jorge Alfaro: Not yet doing baseball activities

Alfaro (calf) has yet to resume baseball activities as of Monday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Alfaro's lack of activity isn't overly surprising after he was placed on the injured list Friday due to a strained left calf, and it probably suggests he won't be in line for a minimum stay on the shelf. If Alfaro isn't cleared to work out again by the end of the week, the Marlins will most likely shut him down for the season.
