Almora (shoulder) is able to play catch but is not yet able to swing a bat, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.
Almora is already eligible to return from the injured list, but his bruised left shoulder is expected to keep him out for a while longer. Manager Luis Rojas said Saturday that he doesn't expect Almora to return during next week's homestand, which ends May 30.
