Phillies' Casey Fien: Has contract selected

Fien's contract was purchased from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Thursday.

Since being acquired by the Phillies in May, Fien has compiled a 2.00 ERA and 11:2 K:BB through nine innings with Lehigh Valley. Fien did allow 10 runs in just six innings with the Mariners earlier in the season, so he probably won't see many high-leverage innings out of the gate.
