Phillies' Yunior Marte: Returns to Triple-A

The Phillies optioned Marte to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday.

The right-hander was recalled by Philadelphia on July 20 and will return to the minors after he surrendered seven runs across two-thirds of an inning Saturday at Arizona. Even prior to that ugly showing, Marte had a 4.63 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 21:13 K:BB across 23.1 big-league innings this season.
