Pirates' Beau Sulser: DFA'd by Pittsburgh

Sulser was designated for assignment by the Pirates on Thursday.

Sulser was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday and has now been removed from the 40-man roster. The 28-year-old appeared in four games for the Pirates and allowed four earned runs on eight hits with a 10:6 K:BB over 9.2 innings.
