Vieaux's contract was selected from Triple-A Indianapolis on Friday, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.
Vieaux made 18 appearances (one start) in Indianapolis to begin the season and posted a 2.28 ERA and 0.90 WHIP in 27.2 innings. The southpaw will likely pitch in lower-leverage relief situations out of the Pirates' bullpen.
