Vieaux was outrighted to Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.
Vieaux was optioned at the end of August and designated for assignment a week later. The 28-year-old lefty owns a 31.3 percent strikeout rate through his first 8.2 career major-league innings this season, but that's come with a 10.38 ERA.
