Rockies' Noel Cuevas: Placed on IL

Cuevas was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a left quadriceps strain, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.

Cuevas sustained the injury in his first major-league game of the season after being called up from Triple-A Albuquerque earlier Monday. The Rockies recalled Yonathan Daza in the corresponding move.
