Tigers' Dylan Smith: Contract selected

Smith's contract was selected from Triple-A Toledo on Friday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Smith recently moved to the bullpen and it has been a successful transition. He has a 15:1 K:BB over 8.1 scoreless innings in his last six minor-league appearances and can pitch multiple innings at a time.
