Tigers' Javier Baez: Idle for nightcap

Baez isn't in the lineup for the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Rockies.

After going 2-for-5 with an RBI and scoring a run during a 10-2 win in Game 1, Baez will get a chance to rest his legs during the final game of the day. Brewer Hicklen will start in center field instead, making his season debut while batting ninth.
