Twins' Aaron Sanchez: Sticks in organization

Sanchez has cleared waivers and accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A St. Paul.

The veteran right-hander was designated for assignment by the Twins earlier this week after making a spot start, but he'll remain with the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. Sanchez allowed two runs with eight strikeouts over five innings, and the team could give him look later in the year when another spot starter is needed.
