Twins' Kyle Garlick: Called up

The Twins selected Garlick's contract from Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Garlick has a .738 OPS with a couple homers so far this season with St. Paul. The 31-year-old has a career .839 OPS versus left-handed pitching and could see a little playing time against southpaws with Max Kepler (knee) and Joey Gallo (ribs) on the injured list.
