Yairo Munoz: Released by Cardinals

Munoz (hamstring) was released by the Cardinals on Saturday.

He recently felt a pop in his hamstring and won't be ready for Opening Day. Munoz has apparently been unhappy with his role and simply flew home to the Dominican Republic without telling the team, so they cut him loose. Once healthy, he could draw interest from other clubs if he still has interest in playing professional baseball.
