Yankees' Adam Warren: Lands on DL

Warren was placed on the disabled list Wednesday due to back spasms.

Warren's move to the DL is retroactive to Sept. 2, so he's eligible to return on Sept. 12. Although be owns a 2.40 ERA and 0.89 WHIP for the season, Warren had been struggling as of late. Over his last five appearances (4.1 innings) he'd allowed five runs on two walks and seven hits, two of which were home runs.
