McClain was placed on the 7-day minor-league injured list for an unspecified reason Saturday, Conor Foley of The Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
McClain was unable to secure a spot in the Yankees' bullpen to begin the year but has been dominant at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The right-hander has posted a 1.71 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 52.2 innings across 32 appearances (one start) in the minors this year. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return.
