76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Will play

Maxey (illness) will play in Monday's Game 2 against the Knicks, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.

Maxey missed the team's morning shootaround due to an illness but went through a pregame warmup and was cleared to suit up a few minutes later. Joel Embiid (knee) remains questionable, and Maxey might not be at 100 percent despite being available. On Saturday, Maxey posted 33 points (14-26 FG) in 44 minutes during the 111-104 Game 1 loss.
