Johnson supplied 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 17 minutes during Monday's 124-108 loss to the Nets.
Johnson entered the contest having scored a combined 16 points over seven NBA games, and he nearly matched that total in his season-best effort Monday. The rookie logged a career-high 17 minutes and tied for second on the team in scoring in the loss. Johnson isn't likely to emerge as an offensive centerpiece for the Clippers anytime soon, but with Paul George (elbow) out of commission for multiple weeks and a host of other Los Angeles players missing due to shorter-term issues, Johnson could certainly earn an increased opportunity to flash his skills.
