Smith (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against Boston, Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Smith is still sporting a walking boot and will miss a second straight game due to an ankle injury. LaMelo Ball (ankle) also remains out, so Terry Rozier, Theo Maledon, James Bouknight and Bryce McGowens are all candidates for increased roles.
