New York recalled Windler from the G League's Westchester Knicks on Monday.
Windler will provide some emergency depth for Monday's game against the Raptors, as Mitchell Robinson (foot) is out and Jalen Brunson (ankle) is questionable. Though he'll be back with the NBA team, Windler is unlikely to be included in head coach Tom Thibodeau's rotation.
