Barea (groin) played 27 minutes in Monday's win over the Jazz, providing five points (2-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
After a one-game absence due to the injury, Barea was cleared to play after warmups and stuck in the starting lineup, but he moved over to shooting guard with Deron Williams (sports hernia) manning the point guard spot for the second straight game. Barea looked uncomfortable while working off the ball for most of the contest, as his struggles from three-point range ended up leading to a less-than-stellar offensive showing. There's a chance he gets the night off Wednesday against the Spurs with the Mavericks officially in the playoffs.
