Smart (forearm) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Hawks, Varun Shankar of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Smart will be held out of the second leg of this back-to-back set due to a left forearm strain. The veteran guard will join Fred VanVleet (knee/rest) on the inactive list, opening up minutes for Reed Sheppard, Bruce Thornton and Bogdan Bogdanovic.
