Rockets' Tari Eason: Headed to bench

Eason will come off the bench for Wednesday's game in Memphis, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Jabari Smith is back and in the starting lineup following a one-game stint on the sidelines, so Eason will shift back to a reserve role with the second unit. In five games off the bench this season, Eason has registered averages of 11.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in 23.7 minutes a night.
