Edwards ended Saturday's 138-95 victory over the Grizzlies with 23 points (8-10 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two assists across 26 minutes.
While this wasn't Edwards' biggest scoring effort, it was certainly among his most efficient, as the second-year star went 5-for-6 from deep and missed only two shots overall. Edwards didn't add much in the way of peripheral stats, but that's partly due the fact that he played a season-low 26 minutes because of the lopsided score. He has thus far avoided any sophomore slump, raising his per-game averages to 22.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 3.1 three-pointers and 1.3 thefts following a standout rookie campaign.
