Grant (face) recorded seven points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two blocks and one assist across 25 minutes in Saturday's 125-103 loss to the Rockets.

Grant made his return to action after missing the Trail Blazers' previous nine contests with a facial contusion that reportedly caused neck and jaw soreness. The veteran forward finished well below his season average in minutes (32.4 per game), though the blowout nature of the game played a big part in that, as he checked out of the contest for good with 6:44 remaining in the fourth quarter and Portland trailing by 22 points. Facial injury aside, Grant has endured a rough start to the 2024-25 campaign; his scoring average sits at 14.7 points after he averaged 21.0 per game in 2023-24, and he's shooting a rough 38.1 percent from the field.
