Paul (groin) was a full participant at the Warriors' first day of training camp Tuesday, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
In addition to practicing and scrimmaging, Paul and Stephen Curry stayed late for drill work. Paul's activity and extra reps with Curry bodes well for acclimating effectively, and the groin injury he sustained in May appears to be entirely behind him. Prior to Tuesday's practice, head coach Steve Kerr told Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com that Paul will start alongside Curry in the backcourt in Saturday's preseason opener versus the Lakers, though the Warriors will be without Draymond Green (ankle). Once Green is back in action, either Paul or center Kevon Looney will likely head to the bench.
