  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Scores 35 points in victory

Brunson contributed 35 points (13-19 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 3-5 FT), four assists, three rebounds and one block across 39 minutes in Tuesday's 117-101 win over the Raptors.

Brunson led the way for New York and scored 20 of his game-high 35 points in the first quarter of Tuesday's NBA Cup quarterfinals matchup. He also chipped in a block for the first time since Nov. 19, marking his second swat of the season. The star point guard has reached the 30-point threshold in three straight games, and he'll look to continue his strong play in Saturday's semifinals game against the Magic.

  • Magic's Wendell Carter: Bounces back in victory

Carter supplied 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 117-108 victory over the Heat.

After scoring eight points on 2-of-8 shooting during Sunday's loss to New York, Carter bounced back and delivered an extremely efficient performance in Tuesday's NBA Cup quarterfinals win. The big man also grabbed a game-high mark in rebounds, securing his first double-double since Nov. 18 and fourth on the campaign. While the 26-year-old isn't guaranteed to score in double figures on a nightly basis, his efficiency against Miami is encouraging after he shot just 31.8 percent from the field in his last three appearances.

  • Paolo Banchero PF | ORL

Magic's Paolo Banchero: Scores 18 points in win

Banchero closed with 18 points (5-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one block across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 117-108 win over the Heat.

While it was reported pregame that Banchero would remain on an unspecified minutes restriction in his third outing following a 10-game absence due to a groin strain, the star forward saw a significant bump in playing time during Tuesday's NBA Cup quarterfinals victory. He finished as Orlando's third-leading scorer and hit multiple triples for a second consecutive contest. The Magic may continue to monitor the 23-year-old's minutes moving forward, though he appears to be trending in the right direction in terms of taking on a full workload on a regular basis.

  • Magic's Tristan da Silva: Leads bench in win

Da Silva posted 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes during Tuesday's 117-108 win over the Heat.

After being held scoreless on 0-of-7 shooting in Sunday's loss to the Knicks, da Silva bounced back and led Orlando's bench in points and rebounds. He also knocked down multiple triples for the second time in his last four games. With Franz Wagner (ankle) expected to miss at least two weeks, da Silva will likely continue to see an uptick in playing time off the bench.

  • Heat's Davion Mitchell: Nears double-double in defeat

Mitchell notched 11 points (4-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine assists, two rebounds and one steal in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 117-108 loss to Orlando.

After missing Saturday's loss to the Kings due to groin tightness, Mitchell delivered an efficient outing and finished as one of six Heat players to score in double figures. The 27-year-old point guard also dished out a game-high nine assists, nearly securing his fourth double-double across 24 regular-season appearances. While he isn't guaranteed to see enough shots to score in double figures on a regular basis, Mitchell continues to provide value through assists, dishing out at least seven in six straight games.

  • Tyler Herro PG | MIA

Heat's Tyler Herro: Struggles from deep in defeat

Herro contributed 20 points (7-17 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 117-108 loss to Orlando.

After missing Miami's last two games due to a right toe contusion, Herro returned to action and posted 20-plus points for the sixth time in as many regular-season appearances. However, the star guard struggled with efficiency, shooting an abysmal 0-for-6 from downtown after having shot 48.4 percent from three-point range in his first five outings of the season. Still, he reached the 20-point threshold while grabbing a season-high-tying seven boards.

  • Bam Adebayo C | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Productive performance in loss

Adebayo logged 19 points (7-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 117-108 loss to Orlando.

After scoring nine points in a quiet offensive performance during Saturday's loss to Sacramento, Adebayo bounced back and finished as one of four Heat players with 19-plus points. The 28-year-old has now scored at least 19 points in four of his last five appearances. The star big man led Miami in rebounds as well, grabbing seven or more boards for a seventh straight game. Additionally, he matched his season-high mark in blocks, tallying multiple swats for the third time in his last five appearances.

  • Pelle Larsson SG | MIA

Heat's Pelle Larsson: MRI scheduled for Wednesday

Larsson's X-rays on his sprained left ankle came back negative, and he'll undergo an MRI on Wednesday, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.

Larsson sustained the ankle injury in the second quarter of Tuesday's 117-108 NBA Cup quarterfinals loss to the Magic and was unable to return. He finished with two points (1-2 FG), two rebounds and one assist over 11 minutes. The Heat will determine the severity of the injury Wednesday, and his next chance to play comes Monday against the loser of the Knicks vs. Raptors matchup Tuesday.

  • Pelle Larsson SG | MIA

Heat's Pelle Larsson: Doesn't return Tuesday

Larsson (ankle) did not return to Tuesday's 117-108 NBA Cup quarterfinals loss to the Magic. He finished with two points (1-2 FG), two rebounds and one assist over 11 minutes.

Larsson sprained his left ankle during the second quarter of Tuesday's game, and he was not cleared by medical staff to return. He'll undergo further tests to determine the severity of the injury, but he could miss the Heat's next game, which will take place Monday against the loser of the Knicks vs. Raptors matchup.

  • Norman Powell SG | MIA

Heat's Norman Powell: Paces Miami in loss

Powell posted 21 points (8-19 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, three steals and two assists across 34 minutes in Tuesday's 117-108 loss to the Magic.

Powell didn't deliver his most efficient performance, though he still led Miami in points and triples, albeit in a losing effort. The veteran swingman was productive on both ends of the floor, grabbing at least seven boards for the third time this season while tallying a game-high mark in steals. Powell has scored 18-plus points in five straight games, averaging 25.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game during that span.
