Avalanche's Greg Pateryn: Put on waivers

Pateryn was waived by the Avalanche on Monday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.ca reports.

If Pateryn goes unclaimed, he will likely be moved to the taxi squad or AHL. He collected two points in three games with the Wild to start the season but has failed to mark the scoresheet in three appearances since being traded to Colorado.
