Ahcan will be put on waivers Wednesday for the purposes of sending him to AHL Colorado.
Ahcan had six goals, 38 points and 51 PIM in 70 regular-season AHL contests with the Eagles last year. The 27-year-old is likely to spend most, if not all, of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.
