Blue Jackets' Dmitri Voronkov: Surgery not needed

Per Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site, Voronkov (upper body) will not require surgery, general manager Don Waddell said Thursday.

Voronkov is expected to return by the end of November, according to Waddell. Voronkov was injured a week ago in a preseason game against the Penguins. He had 18 goals, 16 assists, 52 PIM and 83 hits in 75 regular-season appearances in 2023-24 for the Blue Jackets.
