Snively was summoned to the Capitals on Sunday, Tarik El-Bashir of The Athletic reports.
Growing up nearby in Herndon, Virginia, Snively could conceivably make his NHL debut Sunday for his hometown team given that T.J. Oshie (COVID-19) has entered pandemic protocols and will not be eligible to play against the Kings. The 25-year-old currently leads AHL Hershey with eight goals and 22 points in 21 games.
